Your Words

They’re just words on a paper,
Then why do they affect me so?
Sentences and stanzas,
Show feeling without feeling a thing.
Just simple white paper,
And jet black text,
Sending my heart into a frenzy
With simple things as words.
Boy, you drive my heart crazy,
Your words in stanzas rhyme.
You know how to make me cry,
With every poem every time.
