Breathe

Fast, fast as it comes
It arrives, never leaves
Looping, no end or beginning in sight
Frozen in place yet moving
Deep breaths

Dear Olivia, you captured the essence of anxiety with haunting simplicity. The repetition of "fast, fast" intensifies the feeling of franticness, while "never leaves" adds a sense of inescapable pressure. The paradoxical "Frozen in place yet moving" perfectly embodies the internal struggle of feeling paralyzed yet somehow caught in a current. Your poem resonates deeply with anyone who has ever wrestled with anxiety, its brevity amplifying its emotional impact. Loved it! - Blessings, Daniel
