Alone

I'm glad your not alone but
I hate the fact your with
someone exactly like your tainted heart-

Would she stand by your side
like I did all the times you
found someone new? Or the times you hurt me with
your pain? I doubt it-

But honey look at me now
I soar through the sky like a dove
remembering the places I love
I feel like a queen who knows where her throne is
The doors I've opened have taught me
the facts of life-

I see you now and you look so unsound
like someone who's lost his ground
You look so sad but it's all too bad
for you chose your path like a hasty rat-

It's okay now cause life with you
was like being on a roller coaster
with no where to get off
but I finally found my stop without
giving it an ounce of thought-

Yes baby, I believed you loved me
but you always shoved me
and now your thoughts of regret are so visible
you look like a man who's invisible-

So, I'll fly like a dove
and feel like a queen
who's given herself
a chance to begin.....
