One More Minute

Today was the day
The world stood still
Nothing moved
Nothing spoke
The only noise
Was the rain that fell
From misty windows
Of souls that have
Been shattered
One more minute
And it would've saved
Us a weeks worth of
Waiting
One more minute
And ashes would've
Already been scattered
And yet
One more minute
To think that thought
Through
Would have saved us All
And, As he leaves this world
He leaves ripples
In the waters of time
