Alone

Have you ever been so anxious? Have you ever felt the fear?

Have you ever wondered why this world is even here?

When you’re sitting in your bedroom where no one else will hear.

Then I realize

I’m all alone in a world filled with people.

I’m all alone sitting by myself.

My head keeps on rolling and rolling away.

Won’t someone please come take me home.

While I’m walking through the valley that’s supposed to have no fear,

How did I find myself here?

I need a shelter I need a home.

I don’t want to be alone.

I’m all alone in a world filled with people.

I’m all alone sitting by myself.

My head keeps on rolling and rolling away.

Won’t someone please come take me home.

Why do I have so many questions?

Why do I have so many fears?

When will my life become more easy or even change?

That’s when I realise.

Then I realise.

I’m all alone in a world filled with people.

I’m all alone sitting by myself.

My head keeps on rolling and rolling away.

Won’t someone please come take me home.

By the way, thank you for inspiring my new poem, Make Up, or Break Up.

Just stay put, don't go anywhere. The taxi is coming. The Stylistics are singing your poem. Now you know, everything is gonna be alright, alright, yes alllllllright.
