The Chill

The cold winter evening air.

The howling wind through the trees.

The mist slowly rolling over the cold frozen body of water.

The cracking of twigs in the nearby surrounding.

The yellow eyes staring at the movements.

The dark corners and voids of the unknown.

The fast pacing heartbeat causing the blood to rush to the brain.

The nothing.

The quiet....

Do you feel it?

Do you?

THE CHILL....

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Have a blessed day.
