Sam I Am Meets Robert Frost

Who woods these were Robert didn't know
But if Sam was there he would tell you so
That Eleanor Jonson lived in that shack
He brother Tim lived out in back

Tim was quite a hard working fellow
His beard too thick and his brain was like jello
Robert would pass with his pen in his hand
Eleanor would say get the hell off my land

Robert's horse yes he thought it was queer
A lady shooting a gun in the air
So off he go pulling that slay
Hoping not to get buck shot in his ass that day

Robert still writing away with his pen
Sam said Eleanor's on the war path again
Tim is hiding in the wood box today
The horse said your screwed up if you think I'm going that way

Sam I am, can there be a compromise
Not if Robert's too cheap when he passes on by
The Johnson they want a three dollar fee
The horse crap is everywhere it gets In their feet
