Muslims
We’re known as terrorist and are despised by a lot
Accused of being murders, spies and what more
We try our best in life but no one sees it in us, all they do is hate
Hate me because I am Muslim, hate me because I have a different religion, and hate me because I am unique
Rumors spread around by the media doing their job
Blaming us for things we have nothing to do with
What else comes next, well there’s more
Women hated for the veil they wear, proudly covering their hair
We treat each other equally, but to they thinks so, no
Believing women are oppressed, Believing we are ISIS,
But no were much more than you can imagine
We can be doctors, engineers, and so much more making me a Muslim just gives me even more
I am a Muslim woman happy as can be
So what’s this rumors spreading around I hear
We need to stop this and I can only hold so much more
We need to spread the word all over this world that
We, me you are something better than ever
And you have pushed the lever
Of who my Muslim identity is
And I am proud and confident of who I am, especially cause, I am a Muslim
