The Unquote Promise

It was night when I saw you in my dreams
Dreams that shattered into pieces
Pieces of our memories and hearts
Hearts that seems so tired to follow our rules.

The scorching sun at noon burnt my soul
Soul that lied and cheated amidst your honesty
Honesty that once part of you and me together
Together, in any parts of this whole wide world is nowhere to be found.

Everyone wakes up in the morning of bliss
Bliss which means sorrow
Sorrow of every single mistake I've done to you
You whose love, patience and care matches no one that I am longing until now.

I am now staring at the moon.
Moon that reminds me as a fragile
Fragile person should blame no one but myself
Myself who made an unquote promise to a woman I lost forever.

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
