"your Wall"

I don't know if words of mine.. can penetrate your wall...
Or even crack the surface.. in hopes that it will fall,
To just get through.. that you might see.. this heart of gold that waits...
With patient love.. and open arms.. that stands outside your gate,
A wall so strong.. that it took years.. a fortress you have made...
To hide behind.. to keep you safe.. and there your heart has stayed,
But patience is a virtue.. and relentless is my heart...
So I will pound upon these walls.. until they fall apart,
For you can love again.. don't judge all men the same...
Just have a higher standard... and never play the game,
And love will seek you out.. as I have come to you...
So take a chance on me.. and find a love thats true.
