Hidden Message

Saying goodnight in many ways
As these trees sway
I shall be the one you never forget
Being underneath the big deep blue sea
I ponder my thoughts
As if the memories are not enough to share
Maybe here or maybe there
I believe these sweet nothings you whisper in my ear
Wishing to be left alone
Unbelievable is now
Never able to hear the sound of love
Though temptation never failed to be in my life
As if it was my blood
I'd say it was just that
Though I knew I would be at loss
Once you were to pass into the gate of heaven
That night I took all those memories and pictures out of mind
Only to let my poor mind rest for just a night

Say goodbye in more then thousands of ways
As the wind whispers
Trying to remind me how lonely I became
I lie awake in bed
Making the pain intoxicate my body
I only wished for you to be at peace
Now I know
My body let the pain enter for yours to be at rest
Waiting to touch the sky
Running from a long way
Torn to pieces while I rest my fingers upon these keys
With only emotional touch
My love has gone
My name has been rejected for death
My story spoken to the world through these words
My heartache no longer matters
So I shall not complain
For I laid my own for the one I loved to be in piece

Wow! This is chilling. Forwards and backwards. I really hope the hidden message is reading it from the bottom line up! I really enjoyed reading this, insomuch as appreciating work that casts shadows on one’s heart. A favorite for me. All the best~ Jonathan J.
