A Vision of Hope

Vision of Hope(rewrite)

Hope’s not found in the leaves that fall and scatter,
Not in earthly things that happen for they don't matter.
What if tomorrow a son or daughter that you love dies?
One day you’re fine then disaster strikes and hope flies.

If all is lost where do we go to on earth for your relief?
A drug will numb but it only hides the pain and grief.
You try to survive, faith has fled there’s no where to go.
Anxiety and fear take charge leaving no hope to know.

Wealth not the answer for it doesn’t provide an excuse
Wait I know one who has the answer He does not abuse.
Those who are tired will find it’s not time to just quit.
God will be there to help us out of the evil of sin’s pit.

Satan lies but God gives instructions on how to survive.
His power helps us to understand the Bible so we thrive.
Why His Spirit dwells in our hearts to teach and guide
When hope is dim there to revive and to help us arise.

There’s no greater love found above or below earth to reach.
No mortal love on earth is purer than what He did teach.
Be good to those who hate you, love those who are in sin
for those are the ones Jesus came to set free within.
