Drowning

Life is as bad as the thought of death
It’s full of anger and heartbreak
These are what I’ll remember as I take my final breath
All the bad memories cause my head to ache
When I’m upset the sun will never shine
I’m at the point of no return with nothing left for me
My friends ask me what’s wrong but all I say is “I’m fine”
I try to make them go but the never leave me be
But I do have some good days
Not many but enough to get me by
I’m trying to convince myself sadness is a phase
Although sometimes it’s okay to cry
As long as I have friends who care
I know I’ll make it if I share

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
