Neverending
I trust "nothing,"
with all my being.
I have shared every dirty, pure, forsaken secret with "no one,"
even when they aren't hearkening to every single drip of my icy song.
Because "nothing,"
and "no one,"
are there when I fall.
When I fail.
When my true colors show,
and my lies,
become mistaken for intentions.
Always have,
always will,
until you arrive to make me breathless.
Stealing my breath,
like a flower in the midst of the naked trees,
and blanket of frozen tears we know as,
Winter.
Finding my smile in the darkness of the frigid containment inside me,
Drying the frozen tears,
until they rush through my veins,
in a form of love which is forbidden,
and frigid as my then blackened soul,
I believed in no one.
I still do.
Every day.
Because my no one,
Is you.
