Self Serenity

I do not allow myself,
To be firmly attached to this earth,
That I should fail inlove and crave,
For too many things..

Stay away from a jealous eye,
An envious heart,
Mature in the choices that I make,
Control my desire for an earthly satisfactions.

A courage to be content,
Keep myself from wanting,
Hold myself from taking,
Lead myself to find a balance and zest of living.

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
