Yesterday

Is this where I was Yesterday ?
She gives no reply !
Yesterday I had hopes and plans
Now I wonder why .
Sorrow wraps me in a heavy blanket.
Darkness fills my stunned and grieving soul .
Remnants show she was no dream.
I see well the empty hole.
I feel every memory like a paralyzing chill.
This has to be a nightmare. It can't be real !
This can't be real !
As I dissolve and crumble, As trauma drains my life away,
detached I feel a cry so shrill,
Is this where I was yesterday .
Oh where is yesterday ?
