You only wanted me to be your puppet,
In our relationship.
You wanted everything,
And took more and more from me.
YOU wanted something,
And I couldn’t give it to you.
You had specific expectations,
And if I couldn’t follow them,
Then I was not good enough for you.
If I didn’t make you happy,
You just threw me out on a whim.
You know I am sensitive,
And you thought that breaking up with me,
Would be less painful for my heart?
You are dead wrong.
You thought hurting me was so easy,
And that was your way,
Of manipulating me,
Of using me,
And you never cared about my broken heart,
You never thought of my pain.
You never wanted to love me,
You wanted to control me,
And my heart…
