The Sun

The sun is a spotlight
Illuminating this colorful world,
A lake, a flower, a scenic sight,
A waterfall, frosty and pearled.

It creates the evening
when it falls behind some mountain,
the dew and exploding stars blending,
forming an astrological fountain.

The sun comes back to create another day
after the cold darkness and night air.
The day and night competing
like the tortoise and the hare.
