Because

Is it strange that even after the contract you had on my body
	(The one I signed willingly)
has been burned and thrown to the waves,
who have eaten those ashy phrases voraciously,
I still water the flower you planted in my chest?

But, you have loved me willingly,
have you not?

And so, in the film that tore my eyes and throat open
in a rush of salted water because you were her
and I was her and she was left like me and my vomit and
my poetry, why do I feel that you will not return
at the end of this story?

Because, this is conclusion?

Because, my ending is words and emptiness and not you?

Because, you will find (have found) someone else and I
will continue to stretch myself thinner over the music that you listen to?

You have released me because you felt it was good,
but my wing was broken, and the flight I took was
short and incomplete.

Here I lay,
alone, alone
in love.
