Monster

I swear there´s a monster inside
When i´m in public
He likes to hide
Some nights he´s stronger than any tide
He takes all my pride
He lives deep inside
He makes me sad
And even mad
He keeps me up at night
What he´s doing isn´t right
How do I get away
He´s always by my side
Always bringing me down
Always making me frown
I´m waiting for the day
That i´m able to get away
Perhaps there´s no monster to find
Maybe i´m losing my mind ?

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.

The battle of light and dark. Good and evil. Security and insecurity. Enjoyed it.
