Tracings

All those problems can't be solved with iron hands and
There's no pace in that marathon that's leading you out West.
Have you found an ardent way to hold that desert sand?
Will you be coming around this way again?

Wheres the tracing your using as a map?
You never fill in the blanks.
Once thought your life was figured out but you've got that feeling back.
You've got to chase that sun or watch it crash.

It's been about a year since you last tore open your seems.
And quickly filled the empty space with others thoughts and dreams.
Does the higher view give a new perspective on how the worlds supposed to be?
A longing face is all that I can see.

Wheres the tracing your using as a map?
You never fill in the blanks.
Once thought your life was figured out but you've got that feeling back.
You've got to chase that sun or watch it crash.

I don't know what your looking for, but I've seen how fast you calmly closed your own doorway and left us all behind. I hope when you get there it feels right.

Wheres the tracing your using as a map?
You never fill in the blanks.
Once thought your life was figured out but you've got that feeling back.
You've got to chase that sun or watch it crash.
