Katie

Once upon a time she was happy
Her eyes would sparkle and gleam
Though she did not know it, her beauty was never unseen
Now shes starving herself daily
In hopes of higher self-esteem
I wish she would break this torturing routine
I see the light trying to escape
From the never-ending fearful scene
Her worries and her dreams, have never been those of a teen
She looks to the sky and wishes upon a star
For all of her fears to just become a scar.
