Inner Sanctum

There is a place far up above
where dreams, ambitions never die,
the place that is the stuff of dreams
though there all is not what it seems,
it is the place of love and lust,
the passions that burn deep when you thrust,
soon its torrents would overwhelm you,
and then there's nothing you can do,

There is the place of guiles and guilt,
the still where gurus seek the truth,
it is hard to tread the Middle Way,
when all men do is live for pay,
yes, that's the place of many graves,
where death is sealed before it's done,
the hallowed always gets its blood,
the faith of man must not be scorned,

Here is the place that you must reach,
but not by paths or skies or seas,
the ontos of our greatest deeds,
still fails to meet our very need,
because it wants and wants and never ends,
on this the human race depends,
but man must always contradict,
all that he knows could be deciet,

Yes, this is a place of great despair,
your pain, your pride, what you hold dear,
how many try to stem the tide,
that takes us places far and wide,
as for me I seek the deep,
the light where everything is me,
which says the truth that I must heed,
is rid the self of that I need.

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
