Take a Look At Me

Take a look at who I am.
Realize that I have dreams.
See me for once.
Not your little play toy.

Take a look at my mind.
Answer my questions, don't lie to me.
See me for once.
Not a kid asking useless questions.

Take a look at my heart.
Imagine the scars you put there.
See me for once.
Not a scared little child.

Take a look at my feelings.
Realize they do get hurt.
See me for once.
Not the crying woman hidden in plain sight.
