Where Did the Time Go

"Where did the time go"

"Where did the time go
when my girl was so small,
"Now as I glance at her and see
that she has grown so tall."

"As I remember her sitting
on my lap,
"And watching T.V with her
as we both fall to a nap."

"With the bows in
her hair,
"At that age with no worry
or care."

"Now as she grows older
and I worry once more,
"Boys calling her
and knocking on the door."

"I just need to let go,
and let life show the way,
"Because I know I have taught
her well, and she will turn out okay."
