The Meaning

You're meant for greatness,
expected to chase dreams.
Allowed freedom of thought,
but what does it all mean?

Told to grow up,
stop acting like a child.
Think for yourself,
let ideas grow wild.

The sky's the limit,
never back down.
Trust yourself, in and out,
let yourself be found.

Know when to listen,
and when to ignore.
Speak your mind,
and open your own doors.

Accept what is given,
and graciously give away.
Hug someone in need,
make time to pray.

Love the ones who love you,
spend the night on the shore.
You've found yourself the meaning,
you couldn't ask for more.

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
