What Now?

Every time I see you, it makes me feel scared
To be truthful I don't know why, your no threat to me
And yet you hold my heart within your hands
Making little cuts with every word you speak

You don't know how much it hurts, you don't care
You never cared, with each word a deeper cut is formed
Now you look at me as if I was never yours, like I mean nothing at all
Some man you are, to treat me like this, like im lower then dirt

I only have one question left, what did I ever to do you
I never cheated, always true to you, I made no lies, no sin committed
Just tell me what I did to make you treat me like this
You remind me of the ocean waves, always beating on the rocks

Is that all you see me as, a pebble in your shoe?
For what reason have I given to you, for you to be this way
All I ever did was loved you, and you just push me away
Don't you remember you’re the one who said "I love you", first?

How could you forget, with all the good times we had
You act as if it was all a dream, and who knows now, maybe it was
The only thing I really know now is, Im done waiting for you to change
I will not stand here and be mistreated, like a dog with no home

You may always have my heart,
But you will never hold me in your arms again
I will not put myself through this again
You no long me anything to me

I hope one day you will feel this pain
But until that day, I hope you think of me and cry
Cry about all the pain you caused
The things I gave up for you, how all you did was push away

It’s because of you that I’ve changed and all can see
Im not the same since the day I said I do, and Now I will be
Nor will I ever know how things could have been
