Mr Poison

she is the aftermath of Poison's toxic touch
the result of rage forcing down her lungs
latching onto her vocal chords
leaving the rosy tongue numb

the trachea struggles to release rapid breaths
as the Poison clasps with all its might
putting the larynx and pharynx on pause

the Poison leaves a somber conscience;
lost soul;
broken heart;
bleak visions

here, she drowns into a sea of hopelessness
plunging into the depths of a drab abyss
as fear's imprints stain her discolored skin
a recurring nightmare embodies her

intoxicated by darkness
swallowed by sorrow
Mr. Poison waves goodbye
well, that is
until tomorrow

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
