Long Distance Love

When I'm down
and feeling poor,
I call my mom
she love's me more.

She's always there
through thick and thin,
she never judged me
when I sin.

When I was young
and feeling ill,
she'd find a way
she has that will.

To nurse me back
to health again.
yes my mom
is my best friend.

She's older now
lives far away,
for me my mom
still prays and praise.

She lives up north
and I down south,
and constant prayers
will leave my mouth.

I pray that God
will help my mom,
the winter months
he keeps her warm.

My mom has never
asked too much,
Please heal her with
your loving touch.

All these words
you've seen me rhyme,
I learned from mom
she took the time.

That's my mom
she's there for me,
she gives me love
she keeps me free.
