I'M Sorry

I never said you shouldn't
but I figured that you wouldn't.
You know, you can call me
any time.

Just know that if you
fall in trouble
I wouldn't make it double.
You know, you can call me
any time.

I'm still here for you,
I'd like to be a friend.
But I know that you're afraid
of losing me again.

The last months have been
a nightmare.
I wish it'd just all go away.
But if I saw you on the street
I wouldn't face the other way.

And forgive me please
I know it wasn't easy.
You know you can call me,
I really am not busy.

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Have a blessed New Year.
