Right In Front of Him
A man with a friend in every direction
A man with his dreams within grasp
A man with an endearing family
Yet still a man who's left empty as he sleeps
His dreams are lacking in joy and happiness
He knows not of what leaves him in sorrow
He spent years grasping at the truth
Yet it was always there standing in front of him
This man thought it was the opposite
This man fought to always keep distance
This man ruined himself to never receive it
Yet he let in to the temptation
She gave him an emotion unparalleled to any other
She gave him what he thought was his downfall
She gave him the bane of all he worked against
Yet he couldn't help but embrace every bit of it
Her love changed him down to his very core
Her love dispelled all that he thought was true
Her love that he ignored for too many years
Yet he took it all willingly
This woman gave him what he truly needed
This woman has the opportunity to change it all
This woman who gave him true happiness and bliss
Yet she was right in front of him this whole time
