Her Goodbye
Her Goodbye
She lies there thinking
Taking her last few breaths
Thanking God for all he's given her
Those memories for her were the best
She lays there with her children
Sitting on each side of her bed
She k owe that they are hurting
But they know it's time for her to rest
She knows time is cutting short
And soon she'll have to leave
But before she goes
She has a message for her family
"Don't cry for me when I'm gone", she says
"Because I won't be to far,
If ever a time you feel lost,
Just look for me in the stars"
"It is my time to go now,
I've lived my life you see,
It's time for you to take over now,
And carry on my legacy"
"There may be times where you're lost,
There may be times where your found,
But never let yourself give up,
Move forward and don't worry; I'll be around"
"It's time for me to go now,
But remember not to cry,
I'll always be with you and watching,
For you can always find me in the sky"
