I Thought....

I thought I was lucky,
but I didnt know better.
I thought you were special,
but you were worse than the rest.
I thought you would never leave,
but you left the first chance you got.
I thought you were a knight in shining armor,
but you turned out to be the villan.
I thought I could trust you,
but you stabbed me in the back.
I thought you were the one person who cared,
but you were the one person who didn't.
I thought we told eachother everything,
but I found out you lied.
I thought you were the best,
but in reality you were the worst.
I thought you would never hurt me,
but you made me cry all the time.
I thought you respected me,
but you gave me a reputation.
I thought we had chemistry,
but you faked it.
I thought you were a dream come true,
but now your like a nightmare.
I thought you were my sunshine,
but that was only the eye of the hurricane.
Most of all I thought I found love,
but all i found was heartache.
