Look At Me

LOOK AT ME

Take a good look at me, tell me what you see
Tell me what you see…
You still don’t see me… you still don’t see me, you ignore the truth
Do, I scare you, is it my skin tone that alarms you

 Tell me…why?

Is it my curly locs, or is it my full lips or my hips that hold strength

Take a good look at me, tell me what you see
Is it the way I walk, or the way I talk?

Take a good look at me, tell me what you see, It’s all real

Take a good look at me, tell me what you see
I am more than skin deep… I was born with a price, paid in full

So, why don’t you see me?
Open your heart, Surrender your soul…
Accept the truth
Because,
 I am still here…
