Just Me

I would rather be me
theres nobody else in this world that I wanna be
just me, just me,
the world is a selfish place, with many a selfish fool
there rushing round in circles
all thinking that they want to rule
the world .... is a wonderful place
a beautiful human race
if only they could realise
you gotta give and take a few
you got to think of others too
theres nobody else is this world that i wanna be
just me, just me
because I always think of you
in every single thing I do
but at the end of the day
why is there always someone in my way
when i want to think of me
then they always turn away so ignorently
tell me that i have to rush
take it all and shove and push
that's why id rather be me
because I'm patient, happy and free
they keep on trying have a go
tell me I'm wrong and put on a show
well i think iv had enough
tell me to go, tell me to stay
i will never be in your way
but at the very end of the day
i have said all iv got to say
because
theres nobody else in the world that i wanna be
just me,

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
