Hatred My Poison

Hatred, my poison
That which clouds my thoughts
my reason can no longer translate
The right from the wrong -
They might be the same.
God has no say in this
For I never heard his voice
Conscience has abandoned me
Along with all emotion;
I am numb.
Whence the loathing?
No answer heard.
What my will and purpose?
Not a voice to let me know.
Left behind by time itself
Like a newborn child
Left at the step of an orphanage.
"Life has no meaning,"
A stronger belief today,
A fact may be tomorrow.
How can I walk the path with useless feet?
Imbecile, lost and craving pain
Ravenous, I'll trade my wrath!
Uncontrolable utter loath:
A friend with a mask
Is really a foe.
Curse the one who made the clock,
The calendar, the temporary blood,
And the process of death -
Which is life.
Hatred, my poison,
Isolation my remedy.
