Burden of Proof

The road was to long I almost quit.

The battle I thought was lost, almost no longer gave a shit.

I closed my eyes, took a deep breathe, looked down inside.

Prayed for an answer it was given to me, the answer it no longer had to hide.

For it was time to reveal itself, it was time for it show.

The path for my life, the reason, the purpose, the picture through the window.

At least now the picture now somewhat more clear, less saturated now you see.

For before the window was so stained, I could not see through it, so dirty.

Eyes now opened wide, future now bright to see, painful as the road ahead is gonna have to be for me.

I still will fight, I still will win, I am still gonna battle every moment and still gonna have victory.

These poems that I write are expressions, expressions of the truth.
Words written from the air, the words are a small burden of proof.

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
