Hurt

I put my pen to paper,
Yet my mind echoes nothing.
I hear the stillness of my crushed heart,
A shallow sinking feeling
Fiery darts piercing through every skin
All those rambling warring thoughts, Now none seems to voice out.
Re-emphasizing the depth of hatred floating atop my heart
Hearing him says those words tore at my soul
Stripping every ounce of self-worth I had left
Son of Adam, he had mocked my affection
My passion and my will
He had made a fool of
A knife or a gun
Tell me what do you think?

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
