Out of Sync

Am I out of sync, am I somewhat behind, Feeling puzzled when jokes, I can't find. Did I do wrong in following my parents' advice, In discipline and politeness, did I pay the price? I wonder if I'm not in tune with the times, Or if my upbringing's made me miss life's chimes. But maybe in my values, there's something I've gained, In a changing world, my roots remain unchained.

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed."
