Peace Inside the Promise

Years ago it seems,
	Feelings, had dreams attached.
		Dreams, created thoughts.
			Thoughts, lead to hopes.
				Hopes, blossomed into actions.
You see, I can preach and pray,
nevertheless, without action nothing is accomplished.
And the only thing connected to nothing is death.
These kids walk around spouting out idiocies.
	Stay woke?
When did we fall asleep?
Who allowed it?
Why did we accept?

Life is what we crave.
And if we have been asleep, then what will bring the new day’s dawn?
Oh, the sweet promise of reset.

The first glimpse of that glowing sunlight slams the horizon like a tsunami. It drags us from the depths and we rise with the new day. Not quite new life. But, promise of change indeed.
Awake to the day with new feelings.
	New dreams attached.
		New thoughts discovered.
			New hope blooming.
Then, action.
        Without, the day means nothing.
With, the human spirit takes flight.
With, we are delivered the fight to survive.

Action makes us new. It is the driving force that keeps us moving towards the promise of a new day.

Bring on the dawn. Bring on the new wave. Rise.
