The Outburst

Slowly but steadily it came
Like a thief in the night, it gently crept in
Owing to her ignorance
It found it way through the loophole

It came while she yet slumber
She claimed to be prepared yet,
So unprepared was she.
This was her loophole

'Oh my' she exclaimed
'How could I be so careless?' she'd asked herself
She was aghast at the whole incident
Villainy is taking over morality

Carefully, it has set its jurisdiction
Placing officials in different regions
It has rubbed her face with red earth
Like a masquerade going out for a ceremony

Some of her children are now on a journey
A great journey of no return
Many are being held captives in their home
They have been sequestered from her

She is now in a state of devastation
'Well, this has come to pass' she said
The others need to be protected
So, she preaches this message: 'Sanitize Yourself! Ebola is real'
