A Talk With My Sister

Do you remember?
We drank that coffee together
It was a rainy day
You were happy!
I was anxious
The coffee was bitter
And you knew
Suddenly...
You asked:
"How does it taste?"
Quickly...
I replied:
"Just like life!"

Do you remember?
We walked together
In a pretty garden
It was a sunny morning
You were optimistic
Suddenly..
We stopped!
Some fascinating flowers
Only one had wilted
You asked:
"Why does it look so?"
I looked at you and said:
"Because it lost hope!"

Do you remember?
That dark night
I was trying to sleep
You were awake
There was no light
And no moon
Everything was somber
And you knew
You asked:
"How is your night?"
I sighed..
Then replied:
"Like our hearts, when we hate!"

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.

Matta! How beautiful what you have spilled quietly in the middle of sombre feelings.. dark feel.. though low is the whisper, the pain is loud! Wonderfully touching is your poem! My great pleasure to read! God bless you. Best regards.
