Let This Be the Anthem

Clouds sometimes hide the sun,
rain falls on the best of days,
and this world seems to have gone insane.
Trust is hard to come by,
so many people giving up and giving in,
now more than ever love is strained.
Though on it fights,
like there is a deep secret of warm light,
   on known deep within.
A great secret thats burning to be released,
if only the path was cleared,
then a world of happiness would begin.
We need to stand all as soldiers,
   with love in command,
to defeat depression and deceit and every thing that comes to follow.
Too many times the easy road is traveled,
because to try is far too trying,
and the distance is too far to allow.
Those days need to be in the past,
its time to give ourselves completely,
   go the extra mile.
Let the beating of two hearts together be the battle hymn,
our souls weilded as the excalibur of love,
and armor be loved ones smiles.
