Young Man

Young Man

something in my mind is telling me not to believe it
something in my mind is telling me its not true
something in my mind is telling me your not gone
because nothing’s worse than the thought of losing you

young man behind the camera
altering the view
young man without socks
putting yourself in other’s shoes
young man wearing a huge smile
contagious as the flu
living life asking himself
what would Jesus do

no one on the face of this earth was quite like you
no one on the face of this earth had your vision
no one on the face of this earth could undo
the lives you’ve changed and made brand new

young man behind the camera
altering the view
young man without socks
putting yourself in other’s shoes
young man wearing a huge smile
contagious as the flu
living life asking himself
what would Jesus do

and right now God is looking down at the people you’ve touched
and right now God wants them to know you loved them so much
and right now God is proud to call you his son
as for the rest of His house we come together as one

young man behind the camera
altering the view
young man without socks
putting yourself in other’s shoes
young man wearing a huge smile
contagious as the flu
living life asking himself
what would Jesus do

bright smile
big heart
young man
set apart
destined
for greatness
the one and only
Hayden
