Falling
falling I am
falling into your arms I have done many times
trusting you to be there
wanting you to be there
needing you to be there
falling in love with you was simply the easiest thing I have done
falling with my heart and head in the same place
seeing things for what there were and not what they could be
falling and seeing the end of the cliff I do
the end of the road the end of tomorrow
you have sent me to places I did not know existed in my head and heart
letting me see with the clarity of a clear blue sky
opening my mind to new and wondrous things
lifting my spirits and soul to new wights to which it has never known
falling I am out of grace with my self
learning to love again will not be easy
letting go of my life with you will not be easy
it was just beginning before it had a chance it is ended
this is a new day a new dawn
turning over the leaf to see what is there waiting for me
letting all my past be just that ... the past not the future
the future is bright and wondrous if you look to the sky
to see the sunrise and watch the sunset
looking at the wondrous beauty within the world itself
letting go to not fall anymore
