Chances

I gave you a chance,
To show me that you'te real.
I'll never want to hide,
All this love that I feel.

I gave you a chance,
To show me the way.
I think only of you,
All night and day.

I gave you a chance,
To give me your heart.
Because, boy, I've loved you,
Right from the start.

I gave you a chance,
You are the one I choose.
My pain would be real,
If it's you that I lose.

I gave you these chances,
To prove you love me.
This is more than a game,
Baby, can't you see?

Great poem, we'll written. Sometimes if they don't take their chance, it is time to move on. Been there.

Great poem. Well-written. Sometimes if they had their chance and did not see it, it may be time to move on. Been there.

Very good; I like the line "...the chance to give me your heart". I did that once, I'm still waiting. Check out my poem 'Waiting'. (Nice segue, eh?)
