Mind Warfare

There is a battle going on, it's truly life or death,
But the enemy isn't easily seen,
It's between my spirit and my flesh.

My flesh wants its own way, coveting the the things in this life,
Pride and ego only keeps my mind in constant strife.

Than there is God's Spirit trying to help me understand, I was created in His image, my purpose is to love my fellow man.

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
