The Mask

In the mist of it all I covered my mouth, and then my nose started to shout. I refused to let the virus control what I feel. so I keep it real.
My relationship with my Mask has given me that feeling that I needed to stay clear. I keep my distant sending a smile and telling someone to cover their face in order to stay alive, in these desperate times.
Many souls are gone away, and the world continues to show tears of sorrow trying to delay. Keeping the wind that blew in this horrible thing destroying our many lands as we try to keep the faith.
The debt we have paid can only send us six feet underground when we can easily step back six feet around. We can only save ourselves so that we need to wear the Mask to avoid the sad and many things we face each day.

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
