Love Street

O The places you’ll go.
 And the people you’ll meet.
Down there on the happening Mulberry street.

You’ll soon learn to love,
And sooner to hate.
Just remember, all life is a wide open gate.

Offering lilies, roses, and thorns.
Beautiful birds and mean creatures with horns.

So open your eyes and learn quickly to see
All that there was, and all that they’ll be.

Crocodile tears hidden deep in the snow
With people tied up with no place left to go.

It’s cruel and it’s mean
And it’s hurtful sometimes.
But remember life’s full of sad crimes.

Bathrooms laden with Red and white tiles.
And offices way up high over flown with useless dead files.

So take my hand, and lead me through
Let’s fight the world together, just me, and just you.
