Here's To the Kids

Here’s to the kids
Who go to bed with pain in their eyes
And sadness in their hearts

Here’s to the kids
Who wake up every morning
Wondering if it will be their last

Here’s to the kids
Who lived their last day on this earth,
Fighting an internal battle

Here’s to the kids
& here is to me.
