This Rage Within

This rage within masters me,
                                                          Robs me of my dreams.
                   leaves me bitter reality.
                    This sadness consumes my mind,
                                                                          It seems,
               And I cry.
                      I cry for the one I have not now,
                                                        but once I held.
        Proud banner of love was once my shield.
              I cry for the child, that comes from my seed,
                                                       now not here today. 
              This rage within masters me,
                                             and steals my soul away.
